The purpose of the conference is to emphasize the relevance of the study of 3-manifolds and to establish connections between geometric structures on 3-manifolds and 3-orbifolds, hyperbolic geometry, low-dimensional topology, knot theory, algebraic topology, as well as their applications, which together constitute a new interdisciplinary branch of natural science.

The main directions of the scientific program:

1) Geometric structures on manifolds and orbifolds

2) Classical and virtual knots

3) Algebraic structures in knot theory

4) Applications of the theory of 3-manifolds

The scientific program will include 50-minute plenary lectures, 25-minute oral presentations in the above areas, as well as overview and popular lectures.
