The conference of World-class International Mathematical Centers in Sirius

The first conference of World-class International Mathematical Centers was held on August 9-13 in the Sirius Park of Science and Art. The conference was organized by the 'Talent and Success' Educational Foundation with the participation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, all four World-class International Mathematical Centers, and regional scientific and educational mathematical centers of Russia.
The conference was attended by about 400 mathematicians from Russia and abroad, at least 300 of them came to Sochi. The program included 14 plenary reports selected by the Program Committee, 1 special report by invitation of Sirius University, as well as 15 sections on various fields of mathematics with more than 300 talks.
During the conference, the winners of the Prize for Young Mathematicians of Russia, established by the 'Talent and Success' Educational Foundation, were selected. Three laureates were selected in the nominations "Young Scientists", "Graduate Students", and "Students". The diplomas of the laureates of the Award were handed in by the head of the Foundation E.V. Shmeleva and the Fields Prize winners S.K. Smirnov and A.Yu. Okounkov.
